Simon has over ten (10) years of experience in advising and representing local and international clients in various transactions. His focus is on International Law, Extractives Resources Law, ICT, Telecommunication Law, Banking and Investment law, FinTech, Media and International Sports.
Before joining Magna Attorneys, Simon worked with St. Augustine University of Tanzania as a Tutor & Assistant Researcher at the Centre for Mining and Natural Resources and later WiA Company Limited as a Legal & Compliance Manager. Besides, Simon has an exposure of working in the telecommunication industry, he has worked as Head of Legal and Compliance at Smile Communications Tanzania Limited. Currently, Simon serves as Director of Legal Affairs & Interim Chief Executive Officer of the oldest and strongest sports club in Tanzania (Young Africans Sports Club).
Recently, Simon was appointed as an Assistant Legal Counsel at the International Criminal Court (ICC) based in the Hague, Netherlands.
Simon is a registered practicing advocate of the High Court and Subordinate Courts in Tanzania.
