Angela is the managing partner of Magna Attorneys. She has significant experience in advising local and international corporations in the mining, energy, banking, manufacturing, not-for-profits, real estate, agriculture and aviation sectors. She has experience dealing with complex legal matters relating to local content compliance, corporate commercial, corporate governance, corporate restructuring, regulatory compliance, Government relations, investment advisory, legal due diligence and residential/commercial conveyancing transactions.
She was part of the team in the “Extractives Resource Hub Project” funded by the UK Department of International Development and implemented by Adam Smith International in partnership with the University of Dundee. Prior to working in house, she was in private practice in one of the leading law firms in Tanzania.
Angela spent over six (6) years of her private practice to advise corporate entities on setting up their investments in Tanzania, analyze, draft and negotiate corporate commercial agreements and draft transactional documents. She has authored and advised on local content issues in various sectors.
Angela is a registered practicing advocate of the High Court of Tanzania and an accredited Reconciliator, Negotiator, Mediator and Arbitrator.
